We have embarked upon a few mixed-use commercial/residential projects over the past few years. They are located in markets we have been active in, and complement our commercial activities in those communities. Recent projects for which we have purchased land include the following:
Hazlett Lake Communities and Crossroads Regional Centre – Red Deer, Alberta
A 600 acre parcel of land at the intersection of two major highways in Red Deer. NADG is in partnership with the Hazlett Family of Red Deer to develop a 200 acre regional commercial center plus a 400 acre (2,400 unit) residential community surrounding Hazlett Lake and in Canada’s fastest growing city.
A public golf course located 20 minutes west of downtown Kamloops off of the Trans Canada Highway 1. Tobiano is the #1 ranked public course in British Columbia, #5 ranked public course in Canada, and #10 golf course in all of Canada. It has been praised for its drama and beauty with the background view of Kamloops Lake and its vast canyons.
McKinley Beach Resort Community, Marina, Vineyard and Commercial Village – Kelowna, British Columbia
An 872 acre land assembly located on Lake Okanagan in the City of Kelowna. NADG is the major shareholder developing the McKinley Beach Resort Community. The development is planned for over 2,000 residential units (many with unobstructed hillside views of Lake Okanagan), 250,000 square feet of commercial, a 92 slip marina, a vineyard and winery all connected to a fully interactive beach.
2.9 acre mixed use high density development site located in the best residential district in downtown Kelowna. The project will comprise of twin hi-rise condominium towers with street front commercial totaling approximately 408 units with retail units on the ground level. The site is located across the street from Kelowna’s cultural and entertainment district and is walking distance to beaches, Kelowna’s waterfront parks, numerous restaurants and downtown Kelowna.
0.6 acre parcel of land in Downtown Scottsdale, Arizona for development as a 30,000 sf mixed use condominium building. NADG worked with a leading architect and design team to create a cutting edge project that should lead to additional urban development opportunities in the market.
